Yes, we are extremelly pet friendly glamping hotel. All four leged guests are welcome. We do charge 16 EUR fee per reservation to provide special cleaning after pet guests, so the next guest that might have allergies wont sense any post animal guests in the premises. If available we also do issue beautiful Dii_Stuff brand pet beds for each four legged guest. Please note - beds are limited amount! You, as a pet owner, take all responsibility for harmed or damaged premises or interior property of the hotel and houses.

Yes, you may add the extra bed or pet bed within your check in. You must be aware that there are limited pet beds available on site. Your invoice will be changed to add up the fee of needed extra accordingly.

There are two type 24sq metre houses in our sites. You may choose Forest that suits for two adults and 1 child or house Lux, that suits for two adults and 2 children. The concept of our hotel is not to take up as much persons on sq metre as it is possible, but provide high comfort circumstances while staying with the hotel. You can always consider taking the smallest kid of your family between the parents in the large queensize bed. We are parents ourselfes and this is what happens in hotels with small kids always.

Always contact reception to check early check in and late check out possibilities. The answer you will be given depends on how many guests have occupied the hotel at that time and how busy the hotel personnel is. We are always giving options if that is possible. 

The rest payment can be done at the reception before the check in using card payment only. No cash payment can be done.

Breakfast can be ordered by contacting reception. There is host restaurant in our glamping location - Koknese, which is not our hotels business. In cooperation with the restaurant you may order breakfast and dinner or choose the seasonal menu that might change due to seasonality and availability. Each guest of Ragnar Glamp hotel in the house apartment receives a free of charge compliment consisting of local goodies and refreshments. Each hotels offer differs.

It may be that our personnel have tour guided other guests that have arrived to their house appartaments. Each one of our guests are welcomed and hosted till the house apartment to show the premises and answer the common questions. Most of the times there are staff on site between 9:00 and 18:00 in hotels with reception. In case of any questions during your stay, we're available via email, call or message during the daytime.

Please first check the current time in Latvia (GMT). We are mostly available between 9:00 and 18:00 on weekdays - Latvian time. 

We do answer our e-mails and messages as soon as possible. So rather try to email us and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Over weekends we try to answer emails but it can also take us until Monday to get back to you, since weekends are the most busy in this field and we might be occupied. Glamping means glamorous camping. It is not anly a cabin in the woods, it is much more than that. It's the high standard and comfort equipped houses with the luxurious touch, it's the added value to the premises where it is located and it is the adventures one may choose while reserving the glamping house for a spectatular stay and memories to make. Glamping is not a camping, it is a luxurious gateway that gives you that extra level of beeing in the nature.

Well, we have thought of our guests comfort and detail to the eye. All our houses are made with wood oak floors, wood it self is a luxurious material, we do paint it to give light and airy feeling on the walls and ceiling. The most comfortable and fundament of the houses is the bed - we use the highest quality continental beds and mattrases, as well as high quality cotton percale bedding in our Forest Houses and luxurious 100% linen bedding in our Lux houses. Bed is like an island of crisp comfort in the middle of the room. We use 90% down blankets and high quality pillows for our beds. Other textile of the house is made from linen, cotton or pure wool - quality and natural, tactile fabrics are very important for us. We wish to meet the consumers demand by equipping our houses with high quality Nespresso coffee mashines, milk froasters in our Lux houses to give absolutelly spectacular morning routine with fresh coffee or cappucino tasting. It is also the cosmetics we provide for our guests that is rather qualified as nishe products. We do love some good table ware and very sharp and trend mark knifes that is rather considered as high class when ease your cooking experience in the house. Sanitary of the house - taps, free standing baths, shower equippment are high class, our concrete basins are custom hand made specially for Ragnar Glamp project, same as the furniture - some custom made in our manufactory, some - vintage. Wooden doors and window frames are the business card of each house we think. And we made quite a big effort to create them like they are, here at Ragnar Glamp.

No, Ragnar Glamp is non-seasonal glamping hotel, with heating and air conditioning possibilities all year long. Houses are insulated and equiped with Jotul stoves for the extra heat and cosiness during the cold months of the year. We do take reservations all year long for the same price level for bookings. We wont charge you for higher rate just because it is summer.

All our kitchens are fully equipped with cooking and serving area, fridges, serving plates, dishes, glasswear and table tools. There's Nespresso coffee machine in each house, kettle for boiling the water and extra milk froaster aeroccino in our Lux houses. Lux houses are equipped with electric stove, pans and kettles so you can prepare your dishes inside the house as well as range hood to prevent any unpleasant odour after the cooking's been done. It is very convinient if considering a longer stay in our sites. There is also a dining table and chairs inside the Lux houses. Since there are no electric stove for cooking in Forest houses, you are welcome to use our grill rent possibilities on site or enjoy the nearby restaurant offers.

You will find cooking oil, loose leaf tea, salt and high class dishwashing tools in all of our houses as well as linen fabric and paper towels to use in the house.

Yes, there's a beautiful, handcrafted wooden terrace complimenting each house in our glamp sites. It depends from the location, but they are approximately 10 sq metres large, equipped with terrace furniture - chairs and table to enjoy the nature at your house. There are no sunbeds on the terraces.

All our houses are equipped with suitable curtains and wooden shutters to prevent from the straight sun exposure and your privacy. We do use natural linen curtains and blinds, so they are breathable and antistatic and gives spectacular stay at each one of our houses. The tall shower room window in our Lux house and sauna window in house Lux Premium are dim mirrored and first one is covered with unsee through linen curtains to prevent any possibility of unwanted sights.

Our houses are equipeed with high class cosmetics products to use for your bath or shower experiance as well as highest quality cotton towel sets are ready for each guest. There is hair dryer in each house.

Please contact reception in need of an iron. Always make sure you fill the iron glide tank with pure spring or bottled water to prevent your clothes from unwanted stains from the tap water. As well as each guest takes responsibility of right use of the fire unsafe tool usage in the apartments.

We do use filtrs to clean up the water and make it safe for your everyday usage, however we always suggest you to prepare bottled water to take with you for your safe drinking. 

Yes, our houses are insulated and equiped with one of the best and powerfull electric heating machines in the market. It's automatic, quite and heats up the space very fast. There are also Jotul stoves for the extra heat and cosiness during the cold months of the year.

Yes, houses are equipped with one of the best heaters/air conditioners in the field. It's automatic, quite and chills the space very fast at the temperature you desire. Our personnel pre chills the house shortly before the guests arrives as often as it is possible.

Yes, you are able to store your luggage in the houses. There are no hangers and wardrobe though, but it is convinient enough to store your belongings in the vintage buffets in our Lux houses or hang them on the hooks in our Forest houses.

Ragnar Glamp Pitrags is located nearby Baltic sea where the most beautiful and very calm,  white sand beach can be found. Well equipped wooden path way that leads to the beach is approximately 5min walk from the hotel.

Koknese glamping houses are set up just up of the high shore of river Pērse, where two rivers meet. There are many places to swim and use water transport such as boat trips,  canoe and more.

At Ragnar Glamp Milzkalne you will find a beautifully groomed pond for your swims or catching a fish and Baltic white sand sea is just 9km away from the site!

The nearest grocery store and pharmacy in Koknese it is approximately 4,5km from the glamping area. In Milzkalne you will find them in near by city Tukums, 9km away from the site.

Ragnar Glamp Pitrags guests the nearest store and pharmacy is in Kolka around 15km away, another grocery store can be found in Dundaga 29km from the hotel. We do suggest to always equip yourself with first aid and medicine, especially in case of allergies, bottled water and some favorite snacks.
